Yoga and Wellness
Yoga is an ancient practice that has been in existence for thousands of
years. Yoga comes from the root word, “Yok”, which means to unite. So, Yoga is the unification of body, mind and spirit. It is the only modality that effects us on all levels of our being; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. It’s often thought of as a form of exercise to improve strength and flexibility, which is a very positive side effect. However, there are many, many more benefits to practicing Yoga.
